OK, I meant to ask both of you guys... how did you make these serial breakthroughs???
RoatanMan's guess of Divi Dutch Village resort was about a kilometer away from the true location of the Alhambra Casino, but it got us real close.
There are very few beachfront properties on the island that have this kind of ocean access. Even if you don't know that from first-hand experience, just scanning the satellite imagery will point that up. The first place I found had a website photo that was strikingly similar... prolly even the same construction crew and architect.
From the shore dive photo, it shows two identical buildings, right at that water, that are not parallel to each other. Easy find by satellite.
The hard part was deciding exactly where the pickup truck was parked. It may have been 400' to the South, but I'm sticking with my first guess as per the annotated satellite image.
This might be important because it looks like they "parked and walked" to a shore dive entry site. I'm not drawing too much from it as, even by Aruba's standards, this is a mediocre dive location. Thus, it would be hard to surmise their goal on this dive.
"how did you make these serial breakthroughs???"
That, and a T1 line with a three huge, commercial grade hi-rez monitors.
This is really getting to be a lot of fun. Should make some major news sources when the owner is found!
