Memo does indeed get wet whenever time allows. The pics below are from a spearfishing adventure last year. A great time was had by all ... we grilled our catch at the Villa Aldora that evening which included a hugh crab, 4 lobsters and yes, barracuda steaks. The 2nd pic is of Memo testing the 'cuda for ciguatera was probably the craziest thing I'd witnessed in a long time.

Yeah the test is you bite the liver and let the juices get on your lips...if your lips get numb, the fish is infected and you toss it out. Not exactly high tech, but apparently it works!

We enjoyed the spear fishing so much, we're looking into spear guns of our own. That was the most fun we've had in Coz. Memo doesn't get in the water as often as he likes, but if you get the chance....he is just a great guy to spend a day with. He enjoys diving every bit as much as we do....it's not a job to Memo, he believes in the lifestyle he is living.

Interesting little detail. I was wondering how you decided which fish were safe to eat. Nice trip report.
