The shop is still for sale. Last time I talked to Edwin the owner he was planning on moving to Puerto Rico. I guess he just left the shop. I recommend Blue Dolphin Dive Center in Temple. They are not too far from the lake.

Please post any popular camping areas I will be driving from corpus plan to dive camp cookout also travel with my black lab Hobo dog he likes to go hiking before or after the day of diving so looking for pet frendly camping. Thanks ROCKHUNTER

We were there last summer and talked to him. He seemed like a nice guy. Did he just lock the doors?

Yeah the shop looks like its still open but its not. Its sad, i loved going to that shop.

Now that Edwin has closed up, the closest dive shop to Stillhouse is C&J Divers in Killeen.

BTW to answer the original question, one possible dive site on Belton is at Morgan's Point. Follow Morgan's Point Blvd to its end. There is a gate that you have to walk around, then down hill to the water. If you head out at 180 degrees from the natural entry point you will come upon some stuff. There is an old trailer and boat. A small line runs between the items.

But be careful you don't fall and break your leg or something,:D

I'll give it a try this summer, do you remember the profile?
