Is Morrison or Cypress Springs dive-able this weekend Feb. 13 & 14????

According to SuperBugMan, Morrison's is not dive-able at the moment, and I would take his word as gospel on the subject (even though he's a sushi-hater :D )

Hang it up until this little thing is 5-6'(while the riverwater is still colder than the outflowing springwater).

Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service: Tallahassee: Choctawhatchee River at Caryville

Cypress MAY have a better chance of clear water, but I wouldn't go through the trouble to find out with everything else around here being so incredibly crappy. Not been a good year for diving so far :depressed:

Cypress is definately a more viable option, usually... but with the amount of rains we've had since Decemeber, Holmes Creek is still reading higher than I'd attempt Cypress. I went out there on New Years and things looked like they were VERY close to clearing up(even divable, just not optimal); the water is currently two feet higher than when I went.

Forget about Morrison for the time being.

Vortex is safe for OW. Otherwise, you'll want to freeze in the Mill Pond, or head to Ginnie or Manatee way the hell into FL.

A cavern cert opens up more options, a cave cert even more.

Thanks for the info. It was what I was expecting, i just did not know for a fact. We did dive Devils Den and Rainbow river last weekend. Both were outstanding dives. Thanks Again

Morrison definately not...

Cypress, I'd try it, but wouldn't be 100%
