I'm pretty sure there are several people planning on being in Marianna on the 31st/1st for some diving. Being that we'll all be up for a midnight dive, it's not likely we'll be getting up too early on the 1st, though...

Cave Adventurers' New Year's Eve Bash!
Come join us on New Year's Eve for some barbecue and celebration. Then around 10pm, we're going to head over to Jackson Blue to celebrate the coming of the new year underwater. Plan is to start diving around 11pm so we can be in the cavern doing our decompression at midnight and set off some chem lights. Don't miss this great event!!!

Wish I could do JB but I have plans on NYE so I will stay local.
Walter, you don't have to be full cave to come out and enjoy the fun. The "fire" works are going to be happening in the cavern, so you won't miss out on anything.

There is no cavern at night. But he could have an instructor there that could be his buddy. 
You have a point, Gary. I didn't even think about that. Walter took cavern from me and I'm pretty confident in his abilities. not that I'm encouraging him to dive outside his training, though! I will be diving and could definitely buddy up with some cavern divers.

Someone just needs to ball up some glowsticks at the entrance for an artificial sun
