As I had stated in post # 2 above, the weekend of the 24th seems a better choice as it is a neap tide (Low Tidal change) compared with the weekend of the 17th. This means people diving outside of premium tide times will just suffer lower viz and not a stroke from swimming against a tidal current. The tides have a fairly big swing on the 17th which means watching the tides a bit closer than is necessary on the 24th. But I like the times better on the 17th. All in all my vote would be the 24th based on the tides from ALL the local area shore dive spots.
