Dove Key Largo this summer. Here are the pics. They are on Facebook, but worked even when I wasn't logged onto my account. Hope you can see them. I took the pics myself, so please overlook any non-pro angles. Enjoy.

Whiskey Wreck comment:

To the divers who dove the Whiskey Wreck the Saturday morning of Labor Day weekend. I was watching your dive from our balcony at the Phoenix West, and part of the time that you were down, you were pulling your dive flag all the way down beneath the surface of the water so that no one could tell there were divers present. Not sure if you realized that, but I was unable to swim out there and tell you.

Great pics, we did key largo the past two years, and just love the diving down there.

Cool Pics... Silent world is a class act down there. I am glad you had fun!

Thnx for the pix

I dove with a flag for the first time at the PCB jetties a few weeks ago and realized well into the dive I had my flag under the surface. I'm surprised it was so easy to haul it that way. I would have expected more resistance. Any tips on avoiding this in the future?

Let loose more slack than you think you need :)

  1. You have too much weight. At least 5 pounds.
  2. Pull out another 15-20 ft when you get to the bottom.
  3. Watch the tension on the flag and the angle of the line. There should be some slope to it.
