That's very nice. I'm a glass half full kind of person so no I have never grieved the loss. Still working hard on the physio to get as much back as I possibly can. And tell myself all the time "I guess it could have been worse." You probably see a lot of those possibilities in the ER. I'm sure we sould have got along well so if we're ever on the island at the same time, you should come over for a beer.

Oh my god. Not without an escort you wont! If your two aura's were ever to collide, I'm not sure anyone has any idea what could happen. The bad luck could cancel out, or it could run amuck. A ladder and a flip flop would likely be in there somewhere...but who knows in what way. No, I'm thinking there would have to be a safety team, perhaps a doctor on call...some paramedics out front with a fully stocked crash cart. Perhaps the two of you could wear Nomex suits or some motocross pads at least.

:D

Cheers to the both of you. Glass half full people are getting harder to find lately. Much respect for looking at misfortune in the way you both have. It takes a special person to take it like....uh...a man.

/ducks for cover. :D

Heh. When I told my boss about my next trip to Coz, he said he wanted to send me down in bubble wrap with airbags around my waist.

Absolutely, don't have to ask me twice!:D We could be gimp and gimpess!

I know what you mean about "it could be worse" I always tell myself that. Especially, if I am still alive to talk about it!

O lordy BillinDenver...you have outdone your self with this one. I am laughing till it hurts. Stop it. You are right though. It even crossed my mind I was acting like some "Tom Boy" on this last adventure. I muster more courage now than I ever have. Or it could be foolishness. I will let the masses decide!:eyebrow:

I have laid awake nights wondering if I should write my epitaph soon, you know, just in case the gods are zeroing in on me!

Ok, we are going to need to see a copy of your liability insurance, your health insurance, life insurance and umbrella policy. We will need to see certifications of your OSHA training (specifically in ladder safety) as well as your paramedic training certificate. Rescue Diver rating is a given in this case I'm thinking, and while we are at it....have you made out a will yet?

While I poke a little fun once in a while, I was serious about the glass is half full comment. Character is tested only when things go wrong....you both pass that test with flying colors. 5 days from now I will lift a marg on the beach of cozumel with a silent toast to a quick recovery for both you and MMM.

Lucky you...congratulations Bill. Are you bringing flip flops? Are you an Aldora guy?

Have fun...just watch out for boats, ladders, wet cement, and uneven concrete.
I will be expecting a full report.

I feel honored that you volunteered. But, you may want to keep a wide berth for your own protection.
