Do you have any rings on your crotch strap? Or on the side of your plate?

I clep my spool and lift bag to the back ring on my crotch strap... Seems to work well...

Glad you are ok now!

:hugs:

Crotch strap...is that standard equipment on most BCD's? Certainly not on mine. Yes, I have lots of little tiny D rings all up and down where the back plate is! Just not so conveniently located. But, may have to resort to using them now!

I brought this over from another thread...thought it added color to this dreary thread over here!

P.S. Gawd! I took a look at your finger pic since someone in the other thread said you had uploaded it, and all I can say is YUCK!!!! :shocked2: And that's coming from someone that's seen my own left hand stuck folded backwards against my forearm after breaking my wrist in a motocross crash!

I'd be shocked if you had much use of it yet. Hope it gets better soon!

I could tell you how the steel pins got removed from my wrist but I don't want to gross everyone out. Lets just say there was a lot of tequilla and no doctor invoved! :shocked2:

Went riding the next day.

You said you dived a wing, not a BC?

What kind of BC do u wear? Do you wear a wetsuit? I added. Pocket to my wetsuit, makes it awesomley easy to carry a spool, or something else in if I needed to...

It is a Dive Rite wing "type". It does not remove from the plate. Has integrated weight pockets only. Does not come with crotch strap.

Tell me more...how do you add pocket to wet suit? I wore a skin the whole time in Cozumel on this last trip! Even that was too much material for me.

OMG...don't tell me you used pliers from the tool shed and did it yourself. You are more naughty than I am!! How is the arm by the way? Completely functional?

I was grateful for the Tylenol with Codiene I could get at the Farmacia. Nothing was going to stop me from swimming with those Whale Sharks!!

It was pretty easy, relitively, I dive. 3/2 in FL took a little ingenuity but took about an hour to glue, and 24hrs to cure then it is ready to dive...

Which DR are u diving? Is it a transpac?

You said u had little rings all around the "plate" is there one near the bottom? Right below tank, near your butt?
