It is a place near Blue Point.....

It is a place near Blue Point.....In fact Blue Point Rec area is across the river and bridge from Sheep's crossing North side of the road.

When will Sheeps Crossing be open? I need some sunglasses and maybe a cell phone.

Hey Ed,

Diving the river yet. I'll be out at BP this weekend. Been down to the culvert. Gonna take some tangents off the x-mas trees.

Hey, Aaron!

Did you drift dive or just stay in one area? I think it'd be fun to just drift snorkel down the river. :) I'd like to get an overview of the whole river section from dam to dam and just float along.

Anyone ever do this?

Anyone interested in joining me this week, maybe Thurs?

I'm trying to talk my husband and son into joining me on tubes, but they're still considering. :)

Do it every time we tube.
All ways take mask, fins and snorkel.
Great way to see the whole lower river.
Makes for a great day.
Snorkel about 2 3rds of the time, tube the rest
while you eat and rest and just relax.
Any non-divers in your group can play too.
Might even convert them to diving.

I'm sure snorkeling through the rapids might leave a mark or two. Sounds like fun though. Janet wants to go sometime. Since I've never tubed before I want to go with someone who knows the drill.

Steve.
