Dove Chac Mool cenotes today. I am in awe everyday around here! Dove with Roman Graff from Tank Ha and one other diver. It was blissfully sublime.

I'm happy to hear you healed well enough to get back into the water. Some nurses can be dreadful patients, but I am sure your medical expertise helped a lot and it sounds like you did great. Very happy you got to swim with the Dominoes and in a Cenote. Looking forward to your pics when you post them.

Still kind a shame you didn't get to experience Holbox for a few days & nights. Your approach does indeed sound much more convenient, but as much as you like PDC and with "The Journey is the Destination!" in mind, I hate that you missed that lovely village. Glad that you are having a great time tho...!

I'm new to the board, new to diving, and soon to be new to Cozumel, going with a local dive shop group August first. But I have had so much fun following your adventures, I'm going on my own next year! Thanks for sharing your adventures, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Sounds like the Whale Sharks made up for the fall!
Thanks again,
Chris

Hi Basscat,

Thanks...It is heartening to know that people are gaining news from my posts. It has been a great adventure indeed.

I am suppossed to be starting a preceptorship in the ER next week. I think my incident will be useful!! I am going to post a picture of my finger that I had someone take at the time of the accident. Don't look if you are sqeamish!

Don,

I have so fallen in love with this part of Mexico...I will be back, mark my words.
I have two girls that I want to show this part of Mexico to...so I had to save some adventures for the next trips over.

I used to waste a lot of time going to Cabo San Lucas. The water there is so cold. I love it here. I really love it enough to try and retire here in the near future.
So, will be taking intensive Spanish classes when I get back home. Holbox will be on the list of things to do! I know SB'ers here in Cozumel who have commented on your incredible thread on your drive to Holbox. Well done! You really can be quite handy with information. That is always appreciated.

Mary
