I heard about Michael Jacksons untimely passing this afternoon between dives. It gave me an idea.....Thanks Michael! You were a great entertainer and you showed me how to do the Moonwalk! Awesome!! May you rest in peace!!

I want to share my favorite video. Not because it's his best but because it's the one that shows the human inside the plastic; the sensitive man who really wanted *everything* to be better; the man, despite the abuse of his childhood, despite the insanity induced by fame, despite the eccentricities, the excesses and the mistakes was first and foremost a man--faults and all--whose heart was squarely and irrevocably compassionate.
It may have been his heart that failed him but he *gave* to a generation from that heart and we received without giving. He was certainly insane, perhaps due to *our* excesses as much as his own but above all he is an icon of a generation, my generation, who will never forget him.
