O people PLEASE,

Lets NOT dogpile on any member new to this board, even if their statments are flawed.
We ALL can make mistakes.:D I know I made some of them.
Maybe, just maybe the OP has a sound explanation for his post.
Lets just wait for him to answer all your questions.:D

:rofl3: :rofl3:

I don't have any underlying medical issues. I just feel tired when I get out of the water and so do the rest of the people I go with. That's not the question though...

The question is why use tables if you're only doing one dive per day? So long as you include your safety stops whats the point?

Also, on that same note... why log your dives? I have a divemaster certification and it was difficult to obtain it at first because even though I had dived for almost 5 years and had extensive experience I didn't log anything. So, I just made a bunch of dives/dates up and now I have it. But, again why log a dive. The best log is my brain so if something happens that's pertinent like, oh say my primary fails, I'm going to fix it, not log it. Or, if i'm cold I'll make a mental note to wear warmer clothes. Again, what's the use??
We're doing a dive with a 2.5hr bottom time tomorrow, max depth 95-100ft only dive of the day....

....would you like to join us and just do a safety stop? :rofl3:

In all seriousness, it sounds like you guys are getting hit with sub clinical DCS every dive.

Lets hope that one is big enough for you,if not go find the BIG one :rofl4:

But hey I was dead serious.:blinking:

I don't think I can answer your question to your satisfaction, but I think I can give you some helpful related advice.

First, be sure to include this question in any interview you go on in your job quest:

http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/seeking-employment/284964-young-dm-looking-anything.html#post4419594

Next, when you are looking for buddies and female dive companionis, be sure to tell them that you are only good for one dive.

http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/diving-related/284955-need-scuba-chick.html

http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/new-divers-those-considering-diving/284794-rhode-island-pirate-divers-looking-new-members.html

I also suggest you start working on your multi-dive capacity before you start your quest for four wreck dives per day:

http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/underwater-treasures/284792-cheap-place-go-lot-wrecks-shore.html

Finally, an explanation for your lack of endurance may lie in the energy it takes to loot wrecks and remove the artifacts that other divers may wish to see:

http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/underwater-treasures/284788-i-take-underwater-artifacts.html

So in short the answer is:

If you're a "Smashed A**hole" in life then you'll always feel like a Smashed A**hole, not just after you finish a dive too deep for your IQ to loot a War Grave.

Do everyone a favor and try to bring something up from the Titanic (in a wetsuit using a single AL80). Please it would look great mounted on the side wall of your casket, trust me.

But hey I was dead serious.:blinking:

And in all seriousness, IF all his dives are gas limited, then he has no real reason to consult NDL tables.

Your profile says you have 200+ dives and you ask this question?????

Assuming you do the profile 90' for 20 min's - then do 2 safety stops - you will be fine - but if you stayed down longer, you need the tables to know your profile.

And i don't know if you are joking but pounding dow a few after diving is never a good idea - on a liveaboard, or a resort, drinking liquor after a dive end your diving for that day.

And one other thing - put the money your spending on drinks towards a dive computer - its the in thing, and you can dispense w/ the tables.

Your post was a joke, right?

And in all seriousness, IF all his dives are gas limited, then he has no real reason to consult NDL tables.

Assuming he's not a troll, his dives are apparently not "gas limited" enough since he feels awful after diving. And without the tables (or a computer) he'll have no way to know if he's limited by the NDL or available gas.

Terry

I believe he said he feels awful after repet dives.

So allow me to rephrase:

If all his first dives of the day are really gas limited, and if he never plans to dive more than once in a day, he has no need for an NDL.

But yah, likely: :troll:

That, or the weekly "here's what I do, please tell me it's okay" post.

As long as he doesn't dive LARGE doubles.:):
With a twin spareair he could be safe.:D

But seriously, with a AL80 or the likes, most divers are well within NDL

Let's not feed the troll. Use your ignore list instead.
