Oh hockey as far as I can tell is a simple game ...

REQUIREMENTS

Two opposing teams
a couple of refs
an oversize ice cube and
a flat round thing called a puck

THE PLAY
two guys stand at the centre of the ice cube and try to hit the puck, as soon as one of them does the rest of the teams beat the cr*p out of each other in the pretence of trying to hit the puck into the goal

They do interrupt the fights to hit the puck around every once in a while:eyebrow::eyebrow:

The best thing about doing first aid at a hockey tournament..... If you need an ice pack.... "It's like right there man!":rofl3::rofl3::rofl3::rofl3:

I remember the time I had to give a young buck a haircut because he had a back injury and they kept him still on the ice till we arrived with the ambulance. By the time we got there his hair was frozen to the ice:shocked2:.

We put on the spinal collar and had to cut his hair away from the ice before we could get him onto the spineboard.

When we were wheeling off the ice.... I looked over my shoulder and the Zamboni operator was standing there looking at that furry bit of ice and scratching his head:rofl3: trying to figure out how to fix it so they could finish the game:shocked2:

^^^^is that middle one a type of scorpian fish???

Cool pics!!!

Kudos to the adventure part of your dive.

PS I love that phrase "Ice is Gods way of saying Keep Out!!"
Can't wait to use it on my Michigan peeps. :)

"Rose by another name" That is a Red Rockcod Scorpaena cardinalis a member of the Scorpionfish family.

The fish with the pretty blue is of the Damselfish family This juvenile will lose the pretty colours as it turns adult and be a fairly plain dark grey to black fish with a white patch near it's gill.... these are called White ears and they are quite defensive of their territory.

The Boxfish is an Eastern Smooth Boxfish. The larger one is an adult female the smaller orange ones are juvenile their spots don't show much yet.
