Thanks for the sharing your photos Caloy. Man, that Padre Burgos jetty is rather filthy. However, I've heard its great for diving.
It is indeed filthy and I think it is one of the best critter dives in the PI.

Here's another pic. We went down those stairs, finned our way to the front of the pier and put our regs in our mouths and descended.....(I don't want to think about what was in the reg when I slurped it before descending; we should'nt have gone there the following day to take pix).

lol thanks for the photo of Padre Burgos jetty in daylight. I'll be heading to Sogod end of this month and I'll remember to purge my reg a few times before putting it into my mouth when doing the night dive!

:rofl3::rofl3:

There's a reason why they take you to the jetty at night and not during the day :)

I was surprise that it was only you and Myra that ultimately made the trip.

thanks for the pics koya. For such a good dive site, I always wondered why Padre Burgos wasn't rotated in to the WOW Philippines ads... :D

@Enrique - Priorities perhaps; maybe this December 09 would be different. Yes, we're definitely coming back.

@Chip - tourists would be put off seeing a dump pic:wink:

Show em a pic of the waterfront bar to the right of the pier...

at night...:eyebrow:
there's a new one at the second floor of a building very near the jetty, we surfaced while someone was singing his lungs out with "Blaze of Glory". When we finished stowing our gear on the jeepney-cab, same wannabee singer was starting on "My Way". No, we didn't wait for him to finish the song. I don't know if he made it out alive after singing that accursed song.

@Bill - thanks:)
