I thought they were joking but i guess it happens frequently to swimmers as well as divers globally.

LONDON (Reuters) - Swimmers have been warned to stay away from a sexually frustrated dolphin off an English seaside resort after it tried to lure unwary humans out to sea in a bid to mate with them.

The Times newspaper said on Tuesday that the bottlenose dolphin, nicknamed Georges, had arrived off Weymouth, Dorset, about two months ago after following a trawler across the Channel.

"This dolphin does get very sexually aggressive. He has already attempted to mate with some divers," U.S. marine mammal expert Ric O'Barry told the paper.

"When dolphins get sexually excited, they try to isolate a swimmer, normally female. They do this by circling around the individual and gradually move them away from the beach, boat or crowd of people."

O'Barry said the dolphin, which weighs an estimated 400 lbs (180 kg), would get very excited and rough and try to mate with the swimmer, possibly causing them to drown.

The dolphin also has a fascination for boat propellers and has been injured several times. But it has resisted attempts to move to less-populated waters, the paper said.

Since his arrival at Weymouth, Georges has become a major attraction at the seaside resort with thousands of people taking to the sea in boats to watch him play.

Someone I know was molested or attacked by a manatee and had to throw out their wetsuit.
:vomit: ewww.
Does neoprene have the same prophylactic properties of a condom for those wild manatee orgies?

So Petunia why don't you start a new hijacking thread for posting links to best of the best previously posted hijacks. There are some real winners lurking in past threads as they twisted and weaved their way offtopic. (excluding MOF/nMOF, Nonsense thread, this thread, etc.).

:eyebrow:Unfortunately I am not a Moderator so I couldn't do that... I think it would take a lot of time to find them...... but.... hmmmm why not a Forum for Hijacks (Hijacking)

This thread could be a subforum .... or.... "scratches head" could have a sub forum they dump hijacked threads into.....:coffee:
There could be a thread voting for the best hijacks from general threads...people could nominate someone and post the link to make it easier to track.....This could make it so people could alert a Mod to a hijack.... it could get diverted where they can continue.... could happen without anyone feeling guilty for "reporting bad post" ...Report Hijacked post. The Mods could check the Hijacks and see if they deserve to be posted elsewhere..

Hey MODS have we stumbled onto a good idea here???? is it do-able... too much work for you ....or would it be less work cause you would have a preselected place to send the hijacks....:eyebrow:

I still think it would be fun to dump them in here and "toy with them a little" evil laugh"

I don't think so and i wouldn't want to find out. but I guess dolphins are notorious for this type of behavior. Kinda gives new meaning to the term wetsuit.

How about a thread called "The Jackies" with a poll so everyone could vote for the best hijacking of the last 12 months ... whoever wins the poll gets "The Gold Jacky" for the year

I really do think this thread should be renamed like "no topic thread" or "The land of A.D.D"

Cracks me up!
