Pet Peeves:
Shops that wont fill steel tanks over 2400 psi
leaking pee valves
leaking dry gloves
leaking dry suits
snorkels
People that talk through the dive briefing, then ask what the plan is
People who destroy coral just to get a picture.
People that talk on the boat ladder, instead of climbing up
People who say split fins are better "because I can swim faster!!!"
Tech instructors who's tech dives are limited to their own training they have just completed.
Bottom time limits on boat dives.

I think thats all I have for now.

Im using splitties.
I like them.. less control for sure.
I'm starting to get into frog kicking.. I stupidly bought my splitties :(

Are you using marigolds or cuffs for your dry gloves?

Reminds me of another pet peeve...

The silly "Split fins cant be used for frog kicks" claim (which is wrong)..

My Gripe:

Regardless of what dive site I choose, it is always uphill to the car.

:blinking: You have those dive sites too..... Uphill to the dive site then uphill going back to the car...... funny that!:rofl3:

From which direction? One is definitely not a problem with the valve in the suit.

...
Infact, i went on my deep dive alone cause I lost my buddy in the massively silted up ocean. When advising the instructor, he complimented me by saying out of the entire 25 people of the class he had to worry about me the least.
...
He said it was GOOD that you ditched your buddy instead of doing a buddy "search and recovery"?
Thats a scary thought..

Like how my parents had to walk uphill both directions to school? :D

Hey I grew up in northern Ontario so I heard the same line from my Dad:rofl3:

My grandfather had it worse cause he had to walk uphill to school both ways in a blizzard.... every day in the winter and freezing rain every day in the summer..... but it was easier when the bears weren't hibernating cause they kept him motivated!
:rofl3:
