ok me and 2 buddys are coming over from tallahassee on saturday whos up for a morrison dive as well as some vortex dives? looking foreward to meeting people, and diving!

Not really sure, but the way it was last year, you COULD backmount it, carefully. Don't read this as me talking anyone into anything, just saying... You just have far more room in a sidemount setup.

I am so excited, I'm positively giddy. 24...well, probably more like 25...hours! I'm leaving straight from work at lunch. I'm going to have everything loaded and not even going to change out of my work clothes, lol. If I'd had enough leave to take the whole day off, I'd be on my way right now. I can't wait.

I will be arriving Saturday around noon and will need someone to tag along with at Vortex if you don't mind.

Where are you heading in Pensacola Saturday?

I was thinking of heading to the Destin jetties if I can find a willing buddy.

Let me know if you still need someone to tag along with at Vortex (out of the cave, at least) and tentatively count me in for the jetties if someone who's done it before will buddy up with me. I need to get in salt water.

Am getting so excited that I am sitting here sweating. I may even break out in a rash. This will be the first weekend in forever that I am responsible for no one but me. Can feel the freedom already.

Ack. Been a little busy and forgot to check the date/time for the dinner, so I guess I can't join you guys at dinner if I didn't get my order in on time. I'll see you guys on Saturday then. Never have dove Vortex or Morrison, but I need a buddy... Going to bring my kayak on the off chance that I get to use it.
