She sounds like someone who needs to have her C-card revoked, reg hoses tied in knots, and move to the Gobi desert. While there may be privacy issues with regard to telling others about her medical issues. You would certainly be doing a great service to anyone by telling them that she is an unsafe diver with a reckless attitude.

Ya know, something like this happened to me a few years back on a Jeep forum. I had a TJ and a XJ, and brought the Wrangler out and got stuck. No harm done, but I could get it unstuck, and someone else had to. Man they flamed on the forum for weeks. I never returned.

Might not be a bad thing. She's either going to continue diving the way she does with unwitting buddies, or perhaps she'll take the DM/instructor route and finally learn what safety and slow ascent rates are all about.

Sorry to hear that. But I bet what you did wasn't dangerous, nor did you try to get other people to do anything that would endanger them along with you. I think this is completely different. I hope you found another place to share your jeep hobby.

Serves you right for diving a Jeep! :rofl3: (I hope you know I'm kidding!)

However, and back on-topic, a warning to others is one thing, stalking and cyber-bashing is quite another.

As I said previously and still stand by, you did the right thing given the information that has been provided to us. I have no reason to doubt you in any way. However with that said we have heard but one side of the story. I really do not believe it is fair or just to completely condemn this person as she is being in this thread with out knowing all the facts or having actually been there.

Again, not saying everything you have said is not 100% accurate but I'm sure as long as the web has been around and forums have existed we have all seen times when a person was trashed unjustly from someone on a vendetta. I used to frequent a sports forum where a lady was trashed beyond belief, everyone jumped on the band wagon from listening to one side of the story. The OP was so convincing she had people ready to drive to the ladies place and beat the living snot out of her. In the end it turned out to be over some personal issue having nothing to do with what was said.

Just saying.

 Yeah, 'cause real Jeepers never get stuck. Half the fun of Jeeping is the tough trails where you can get stuck, or helping people get un-stuck when they challenge themselves. I gave up on JFs too, way too many internet experts who don't actually know anything. I stick to my local club and we have a great time.

But I digress
