Price Utah! My company operates gas wells in that town. Been a while since I have traveled there. Most of my visits to Utah lately have been to Vernal. I actually did my cert dives at the crater.

If someone in Price wanted to get certified, who you would recommend?

Actaully, Ron was misleading you to some degree. We are a very exclusive and discriminating group of dive bums. Our membership rules are extremely exacting. But we are making an exception in your case.

Yes there are a lot of gas wells here, are you with Bill Barrett Corp? I have done the Midway crater many times, it is one of the few places to dive in the winter. I don't know of anyone doing scuba instruction at this time. I got certified thru Dave Howlett (Orem). He would probably do a class in Price again if he had a group. I can give you his number if you are interested. Jay Taylor had a dive shop in Price for about a year, and was teaching scuba at the college, but he left when he bought Dive Utopia in Orem.
