I keep a pretty close track of places on Bonaire and so far I have not heard any bad comments at all about them. Several on the board have had good reviews. Do a search on Laman (got to have at least 5 letters to make the search work).

We're staying there for 2 weeks this summer (leaving in a bit over a week), I'll let you know what we think. Anything in particular you want to know, or just a general overview?

Never got around to a trip report - we were there in May. Had an Oceanfront Condo with a great view (picture hopefully attached).
Everything was top notch. They cleaned the unit daily and did the dishes. A/C throughout the unit (not just in the bedrooms). Everything is nice and new. Nice kitchen, fully equipped. Very secure - had a safe in the room, and you need a key just to get upstairs.
BDA was a good dive operation. If diving nitrox, I would always keep a tank or two locked up in the storage lockers, since you can't get nitrox after 4:30. The "Dive with the Naturalist" is a great way to spend a morning - highly recommend it.
Bari reef (the house reef) is convenient and has a ton of life. People were diving it throughout the day and into the evening.
The restaurant was okay. We didn't take the breakfast package - just made breakfast in the unit. Free rum punch party on Monday.
Don't waste the money on the boat dive package. There's enough good shore dives to keep you satisfied.

We'll miss you by a week.We're at DL June 28-July 12.
It's our first trip to Bonaire and somehow I can't see it being our last by a long shot.
