Alright Sandy!!! I am so proud Oxy is willing to share!!!

I think Calvin would definately protest of your use of the word 'cat' when referring to Hobbes.

Hobbes is definately a Tiger according to Calvin.

That's part of the story of the cartoon. Calvin see's Hobbes as a live tiger and his friend and "larger than life", while everyone else (parents, etc.) see it as a 'stuffed animal'.

I'll have you know that Hobbs was the most real Tiger that ever lived.
Without Hobbs, Calvin would have been just another dennis
PS he was only a stuffed animal when grownups were around just like that dragon Puff, grownups couldn't see him;)

Awwwww that made me cry!!! Reminded me of a few weeks ago. I was on my way to the bus stop when I found some abandoned NEWBORN (I'm talking still wet, with afterbirth stuck to them) kittens. I waited around for the momma but she never showed up. I went back to my house, got some latex gloves and a towel, went back, still no sign of momma - these kittens were in a bush right by the sidewalk, and kids up the street were just getting out of school and I had horrid images in my head of what some of these kids might have done if THEY had found them. So I scooped them up, wrapped them in the towel and took them down the street to my vet. Unfortunately, as they were SO young, the vet said they couldn't save them since, even if they were hand fed, newborns like that can't survive without certain things that can ONLY come from the momma. So I couldn't save them, but I had to take consolation that at least I saved them from what might have happened out on the street. That Calvin strip just brought it all back. :crying2:

Awww thats a bummer BUT
on the 4th of July about 15 years ago, I found a piece of a black cats tail behind a piece of wood in the garden ( well thats what it looked like ). Then it wiggled. To make a long story longer, It was named Freedom and became a large black cat with an attitude. Rolling up a paper was NOT a deterrent as he would just shred the paper and the hand holding it.
It may have been Hobbs in disguise.

oh and I just got back from the store (had to make special trip) SHE brought back chips ahoy and NO MILK!:11:
