Mine is the same as my primary - thats because it IS my primary :)

Oh, my backup is the same as that though...

The poll didn't give a category of " middle of the road" so what should I use on the poll?
Actually I have two octos, one is a four footer and the other is air II type.

Ok,instead of top of the line...Good quality reg. would've been a better frase:D
So option 2 :D

Two similar regulator sets. One has a yellow version of the primary 2nd stage & the other has a low profile version. All are the same manufacturer. I check out each during a dive. No significant differences and no failures.

My primary and secondary are the same brand, but not the same reg. My primary is a sherwood maximus and my octo is a sherwood minimus - the low profile one. I love 'em both, although the minimus doesn't breathe all that great deeper than 100 fsw.

Primary: SALVO SRX
Octo: SALVO SRS

Backup is on my neck on a bungie. I use both throughout the dive so it helps to have them breathe the same.
