Primaries are Apeks ATX200's, alternate is an ATX50.

On the other reg set, they are both the same (Mares Proton Ice)

Apeks XTX50 primary and octo...of course they both have their own first stages since they're my doubles regs.

Two similar regulator sets. One has a yellow version of the primary 2nd stage & the other has a low profile version. All are the same manufacturer. I check out each during a dive. No significant differences and no failures.

My primary and secondary are the same brand, but not the same reg. My primary is a sherwood maximus and my octo is a sherwood minimus - the low profile one. I love 'em both, although the minimus doesn't breathe all that great deeper than 100 fsw.

Backup is on my neck on a bungie. I use both throughout the dive so it helps to have them breathe the same.
