Bring rum. :D :D :D
Becky, I am planning on leaving Friday mid morning, so we can get up there by mid-late afternoon. Sound good to you?

Okay, just wondering what water temps can be expected in April. I'm without a wetsuit of any thickness and am not as crazy as Colin when it comes to cooler water. Is this a dog-friendly campground? I don't remember from last time we went.

:o) Kris

The spring water is constant, around 72F year round, the river water can change though... It still may be a bit cooler(?).

Kris, Ginnie Springs does not allow dogs. Except for the owner's, that is. A really friendly black lab, if you see that dog, Ginnie's owner is not far away.

I am not quite sure how Andy manages to get his flock in, but hey.

As BugMan mentioned, the spring water is always 72, but the river water can vary. If I recall correctly, it should be pretty close to the same temp as the springs at that time of the year, or possibly a little cooler.

Becky, if you want to bring something food wise, get something that goes well in omelets for our communal breakfasts. Post what it is that you are bringing, so others have some idea what not to bring. Ideas include shredded cheese, sausage, eggs, bell peppers, diced ham, diced onions, bacon bits, mushrooms, black olives, salsa, and whatever else someone might like with omelets.

I *think* the ketchup is taken car of. :)
Gonna have to get a sitter for Charlie. :( He had so much fun last weekend.

Eyups...Dat River is still a MITE bit cooler at this point.
If your going down the Ear , the right side feels like a warm sauna...the left side feels like a slushy !!! :D
(Not quite that bad).

But it should be warmer by Mega time. It's awful tanic at the moment though. Still makes a nice view looking at it from underneath.

I think to cover myself I will bring all that you have mentioned I will write them all down and also add Hot Sauce and make that a flat of eggs

I will also bring a bottle of Rum but someone needs to tell me what kind. I might have a wine cooler or maybe a beer but I have never bought any hard stuff before so someone help me out here.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Becky
