You people are just mean! I mean, this guy came to this board to get feedback from the numberous experts and otherwise knowledgable individuals who have helped countless divers with various issues. This guy is obviously quite concerned about his quest and has invested quite a bit of money and time. All you people can do is redicule him and offer useless banter to amuse yourselves.

Now the real way to take spectacular photos of seahorses is to first find one of the females. Take her over to the cleaning station so she gets all purdy'd up. Then maybe get her a bite to eat... maybe some nice brine shrimp (you should have plenty from your tank). This will make her pretty happy and maybe even a little flirtacious. Then to go in for the kill. You will need a toothpick with a small rubber tip on one end. If you use this to gently caress the tip of her tail she will go nuts and start to do wonderful (and sometimes erotic) poses. Its the seahorse equivalent of foreplay. A couple minutes of this and she will do whatever you want. Just make sure her boyfriend is not around.

If you cant beat 'em...

What is wrong with you???

I don't believe in foreplay...you get in there, do the business and then leave. I'm not going to entice or prep anything..

Afterall, I have invested well over $7,000 on this camera setup and at the very least the divemasters should help me get them out in the open to take pics. I dont do this alot, so I'll need atleast 10 pics of the same one before I feel my creativity has been properly reflected.

My Coz trip has been cancelled. Heath Ledger just died and now I have to make arrangements to go to the funeral. Damn it.

change your flight to Australia and come on down... after the funeral (Heath was an aussib btw) we will take you to manly nets. there, at 10ft you can stay for hours taking pics of sea horses... last count was aboot 300 of the buggers

but be careful, theyre feral buggers, they bite and snarl at you and i have heard some reports of dome ports being cracked by a head butt from them

Have you considered just taking an actual horse down to about 30 meters and having it gallop along the reef?

Why are you people treating me like this? I have bought well over $8,000 worth of equipment with the sole intention of taking pics of seahorses. I bought a special seahorse camera package.

I need to know the best way to handle the seahorses, I'm tired of using nets, it just doesnt look great in the pics.

.... I have bought well over $8,000 worth of equipment ......

geez Jep - i hope you dont measure other parts of your life like the way youre keeping track of how much you spent on camera gear :eyebrow:

and you have asked and i have answered - i will guarantee you sea horses AND i will throw in a guy that actually researches them for a living and his PHD to guide you plus he is a published photographer & photography instructor so he can get you to take that perfect pic you always wanted

so when will you be arriving??
