Yes, I can access Garuda domestic flights on NusaTrip. Thank you. :)

NusaTrip doesn't seem to work for international flights, YYZ-CGK, will try again.
just to be clear , you don’t need to book your international and domestic tickets through the same website (you mentioned “trying again” for YYZ-CGK in NusaTrip). Normally I just book my international through my preferred means and book the Indonesia separately . I normally use booking.com for Garuda flights if you have issues with NusaTrip. Garuda is a Delta/Skyteam partner if you have a relationship with them (I don’t ).

Batik does allow for a 15kg scuba equipment bag at no charge (in theory ). Only problems are it must only contain scuba equipment and it can’t exceed 15kg (if it is 16kg you pay on all 16kg, not just the 1kg overage ).

Any time I have looked at booking an internal Indonesian flight as part of an international ticket (like you are trying to do) the price was ridiculous if it was available at all. I have always ended up booking the domestic flight as a separate ticket.

Luggage on Indo domestic carriers is a whole other topic. Some offer a “sports bag” allowance but it is often the agent at the gate that determines exactly how that allowance works.

I will add this to the mix...

If the goal upon arrival from Toronto is to just hang out at a night hotel, relax at the pool, and work through some jetlag for a couple of nights, the difference in pricing between Singapore and Jakarta is night and day. The price at the 4-star beautiful Sheraton, about ten minutes from the Airport, is about $100 a night and a $12 round-trip taxi ride. That won't even get you in a crappy business hotel in the middle of nowhere in Singapore.

Agreed, bundling domestic and international fares is not economical in this instance. In the past, I have booked separate tickets. But this time around, Nusatrip does not give me access to Garuda for the international flight; nor does Garuda's web site allow for direct booking, Toronto-Jakara-Toronto; I will use Book.com or maybe book directly with Cathay Pacific.

Why would anyone want to fly CX?
I have not flown CX for very long time, overpriced and over rated. I use KA even flying between YYZ and HKG, extra few hours at ICN is never an issue.
