1) I would be happy to jump on a video chat with you to try different configurations live. Free of charge.
2) What would happen if the 1st stages were at a different angle? So that the hose going to your backup is facing down.
3) I keep my necklace (backup) regulator above the inflator hose, but it should work either way.
4) If it works, it works.
2) the regs pointing this direction create a more drastic kink in the hose for me
3) I’m finding that with hose on top of inflator, things get bunched up behind my neck and make turning my head harder

i prefer ALL hoses to be infront of the bladder not behind it. so all hoses are sandwiched between diver and bladder

and yes… long hose needs to be outer
I’ll try this next. Swap position of lh and lpi and sandwich the wing in between the hoses and the tanks so they’re all in front.

Ok i think i know the problem.

Inflator hose Should NOT go under the corrugated loop. That way it wont be forced to go behind the bladder. And that way it can be INFront of the bladder

The loop on the wing that holds the corrugated hose? So lpi on the back port of the right post but routed in front of the wing and not through the loop?

You might do well to put an omniswivel on the LP port and run the hose off of that. That would take the weird and horrible bend out of your hose and allow you full range of motion. I'm not sure what size you'll need though.

Blue - remove inflator from corrugated hose loop so it can be infront of bladder
Red - move 24in backup hose to front of bladder. Such that bladder logo is behind the hose
Green - longhose infront of bladder.

The angle of the 1st stage can be like that, a shallow V , or perfect horizontal.

Play with it. Whichever is comfy

Take a photo when your done.

But key here is 24in hose. Yes i know dir specifically said 22in

Apeks is a uk brand. If you look at european sites. Ds4 and tek3 doubles are sold with 24in lp hoses.

Sorry long hose is behind. Lpi in front

With a v angle. Your long hose will be able to be infront when in water

Hears how you want to do it.

I reccomend taking an essentials or fundamentals course. All of thos is covered and fine adjustments are made durring the program

Nice! But i prefer all my hoses to be in front of the bladder. That way nothing restricts the wing.

My instructor in fundies was very adamant with hoses must be infront of wing
