I have tried the RAID website, but am having no luck. Using the “Search a RAID Store” brings up nothing in the US or Canada, or any other country I try. Is it the site, or me, lol?

I've had the same problem and even sent an email to them with no response.

Interesting. I'm in the process of becoming a RAID instructor. @dinobianco @RAID MARKETING

Fantastic! That helps a lot.

That is excellent and works, thank you!

Their main web site Find a Store link at Find a Store – Dive RAID International does not work, which is where I was having issues.
Yes, that was the issue I was having, as well. Thought that it might be a mobile devise issue, as I was trying it on my phone and iPad. Now we both have an answer.

Good call on the tags, they may not realize that there is an issue.

I had to look because I had no idea what RAID is.... I'm an old rusty diver that has been mostly away for a long time...

so side question....it seems like RAID is probably just another training agency... a relatively new one.
I'm curious why is it important to ya'll to find it? Why not just go with whichever agency that your favored local dive shop is affiliated with? All these different competing agencies are a concept that I've never been able to wrap my head around... so just trying to understand your interest...

Personally, I would like my kids to learn a lot more about buoyancy and trim as part of their initial certs in a "DIRish" manner.

If I can't do RAID I'll try to put them through GUE Rec1. If that's not possible I'll put them through the PADI cert mill and try to get them (and the wife) into GUE Performance Diver shortly thereafter. RAID's lack of a basic functional website is not confidence inspiring so those may be my only options.

Neither link above is working for me.

Instead of seeking out a particular agency, why not just find an instructor in any agency that will teach this way? I’m a PADI instructor and teach everything neutral. My students are told to not touch the bottom unless I specifically ask them to, which is rare. Hovering in trim is what I spend the most time on.

I’d be happy to teach students in BP/W, long hose/primary donate etc. as long as they are supplying them. (Our shop rental gear is not that config)

There are many good instructors from at least 3 agencies (none RAID) in my area that would do the same.

You could even go the private route. It’s got to be more cost effective to pay extra for private local instruction than travel across the country looking for an instructor from a particular small agency.
