can you slighlty undo the yoke-DIN fitting with a big wrench? Quarter-turn at a time...

That’s what I’m suggesting, somewhere might/likely is a connection can be done slightly to relieve pressure.

Little drill into the HP hose, then throw it away after you take it off
Drill??? Cutting it halfway with a pair of diagonal cutters would be easier. Shallow snips until it finally starts to leak.

If you have a HP hose, then, that’s 2 nuts/ferrules, whatever it’s called, close tank and slightly unscrew one of those ends until you start to hear some hissing

There is no hose to speak of in this case. The OP attached a gauge directly to a yoke adapter, and then connected the adapter directly to the valve of their cylinder. There is no hose, no first stage, etc.

I connected a high pressure gauge directly to a yoke valve. I used a brass high pressure quick release to connect the two and attached to a tank. The tank is under pressure. No bleed valve was part of the setup. This was understandably a mistake because now it is under pressure with no way to release the pressure. Any ideas?

Perhaps you can disrupt the connection enough to bleed off some pressure by closing the cylinder valve and then freezing the yoke adapter...turn one of those cans of electronic duster upside down so the liquid propellant comes out...or maybe pack dry ice around the valve and carefully heat the yoke adapter with a torch....you only need to releave the pressure in that small space between the valve face and the yoke adapter.

As others have mentioned, a picture would be very helpful to ensure everyone is on the same page regarding this beast you have created.

Sounds like the OP is in a dangerous situation with a safety hazard at hand… on the other hand looks like a common tool to read pressure directly off the tank …

There must be a pressure release mechanism somewhere in the setup…
