DIVI Flamingo: what is the present condition of dive pier?

Does anyone know the present condition of the dive pier at DIVI Flamingo?

How are the repairs coming? Are they working on it?

Any predictions of when will it be back in service?

If dive pier is still not in working condition:

What are they doing as an alternative for boat diving and shore diving?

Are they still using the south pier?

What are they doing for the customers dive gear lockers?

Where do they keep the tanks for shore diving?

How about night dives from shore? Do they have temporary gear lockers that is easily accessible after hours?

We have a group going in just a few months.

One of the biggest selling points of DIVI was their super convenient dive gear locker at the end of the pier. We are bit concerned about the present condition of the facility.

Thanks in advance for any information.

Water looks beautiful.
Indeed it is beautiful. The sand bottom and gin-clear water makes it extremely inviting. Here's a pic of our favorite post-dive activity:

Any updates on the Divi dive dock? We're thinking of going 12/21-12/28 and really hope the new dock is in full operation with lockers, etc. thanks.

Sorry, meant to post last month. We visited Divi Flamingo and the new dock is done and in full operation. But they are still running dive boats from new dock and the auxiliary South dock. Also, when we were there they had a stop-work order from STINAPA (I don't know the details), but there are no lockers installed yet on the new dock-- they are all over by the dive shop.

Having been to Divi before, we booked a studio room in the area right next to the dive shop and pool there, so we were close to the dive operations (we're old and lazy LOL!). But the joke was on us because there was a very large group that used the new main dock, while all the non-group folks had to use the South dock. That pissed me off at first, since now our rooms were the furthest away from the dock! Anyway, down there instead of lockers they have a locking storage room with individual cubbies where you can hang all your gear. In the end, I really liked this arrangement over the lockers on the dock, as it was inside, out of the sun, and a lot easier to deal with gear before and after the dives. Sure, we had to schlep all our stuff down there and back at the start and end of the trip, but it ended up being much better than using the North dock with individual lockers.

Also, the week we went it was very slow!! At most we had 6 or 7 divers on the boat all week. Nice to spread out and not be crammed in like sardines.
