I now have a couple of months of diving booked next year, no flights more than 8 hours from home .
A few local boat dives a month should see the year out.

Resume the U/W archaeology diving training I began when I took a short course (lectures only) in the mid-1990's at Our World Underwater. And work on a real U/W archaeological project.

I have only been certified for about 15 months. I am so hooked. I currently have 34 dives, and have dove in 4 countries. I have dove the cold water of Hood canal in Washington state to the warm waters of Curacao.an running a hybrid of certifications. I have my PADI open water, Nitrox and SSI drysuit certifications so far.

For this coming year I would like to get my dive count close to 60. I am also looking at getting Deep dive, Navigation, night and low viability certifications. I mostly don't wan to miss a possible dive trip because of a certification. I'm not sure if I will go with PADI or SSI going forward. I am going to Bonaire in January, that will be amazing.

Instructor not agency. Most of those certs are a waste of money. Only deep might get you something. Find locals who are highly experienced and don't mind helping new divers.

How long in each place diving?

Impressive.

I'm slowly grooming one of my existing partners into becoming a diver. Sometimes you gotta play the long game!

Wife is a cave diver now. Not sure that’s where she thought it would end up after a dsd in Oahu

Thanks to Cebu Pacific and HK Express the total cost for seven return fare is just over US$1,000.00. NOT bad at all.
The longest is Lanta + Lipe which is 3 wks.
The rest is between 7 - 10 days.
Max is 2 dives per day as I have to take it very easy.

Planning a return to the Philippines in April 2024, not been there since 2019, and further exploration of Cebu.

One of my bestest buddies is coming to visit me in February and we'll have around 10 days diving locally in UAE and Oman, really looking forward to that.

Not sure what I'll do in the second half of the year.

That's about the same number as me, one or two 3 dive days is my limit now, I need a nap after 2 dives some days.
This getting old is not for the timid, but still we 'battle on', beats the alternative. 👌
