Zolfo springs - divable?

I think I know the answer to this one but I'll ask anyways.
My girlfriend past Zolfo Springs on the way to visit family in Tampa. She called to ask me if that was a place we could possibly dive. I did a quick google search, it appears to be part of peace river.

Sure any place can be dove, but I was curious if this was a known scuba diving spot. I don't think it is since I can't find much about diving it, or ever heard of it. Looks like to me diving it would turn you into gator bait. Maybe I'm wrong..?

It's a nice area for kayaking. I wouldn't recommend diving, the river is shallow and brown.
