Hi,

Have got a question for Zeagle's ET users. Do you use the ripcord or the zip touch weight system? Which would you recommend and why?

Many thanks for your help.

Neither. I use very little weight so I have 2 ways of carring weights. I made a weight system of my own out of a couple of lengths of webbing and some Zeagle sexbolts. I put holes in each end of the webbing, run it through a weight and bolt it to the back plate in the gromets. With the little weight I need- 4 lbs or less- to make me neutral I an not concerned with ditchable weights. Otherwise I use a weight belt when I need a little more than the webbing will handle. Around 10 lbs (2x5) is the practical limit to add the way I do.

This is a travel BC, why weight it down with unneeded accessories and the weight that goes with them.

Simple question, Can the zip touch system be attached to the mounting holes on a backplate? Are there any other simple weight pockets that can mount on the backplate? I'm looking for the simplest system for low weight (6lb.) that doesn't go on the waist belt.

It just threads through the lower cam band. It's about as simple as you can get.
