On a side note and just of curiosity only what is your over all opinion of Zeagle? Did you give up on them or decide to give them another chance?

I ordered an Express Tech from ZeagleExpress. It has shipped. It will meet me in California when I arrive in a couple of weeks.

Also just as a note on the thread in general its not just Zeagle that had this issue. I recall a while back that unbelievebly there was a shortage of a particlular popular brand of waffles in the U.S. because the company that makes them had manufacturing problems.

Also Toyota and Honda and many Japanese companies are in dire straights too because allthough many of their assembly lines are in the united states many of the vital parts are manufactured in Japan.

When you look at things being drug out you can look at it a variety of diffrent ways like one way is Zeagle should have enough far sight to order these materials in advance but then a counter claim would be how do you predict if your going to have a record breaking year or a slump year where your product does not move and you have now got 2 warehouses packed full of non moving product.

Buadhai I understand your frustration as I too had another brand of BCD once where I lost a weight pouch and called to have a replacement. I was told that they would be backordered for almost 6 months. I personaly could not understand how it would take 6 months to make a simple nylon pouch but it was what it was. Hang in there and just keep enjoying diving. Dont let things like this stress you because stress is very unhealthy. Diving is a great destresser! :)

I will still say, my Z regs rock. I understand the challenges of biz and being open helps, I don't think you get any more open than a few post ago....

I hope Zeagle hangs on. As far as quality and service goes they seem to have and are determined to maintain a good reputation. It was a bit frustrating that their manufacturing difficulties coincided with my decision to purchase. But, my BC is on it's way, so I'm sorted and looking forward to using it on my next dive.

I ordered a Ranger LTD on April 17 and it still hasn't been shipped yet. When I emailed the company I was told that Zeagle had switched manufacturers for the bladder. And this was the reason for the delay. I'm not sure if it was the company just telling me something for their delay or is there validity to the issue?

Rob have you tried to see if you could find the Ranger LTD from another retailer who may have it in stock and get it quicker? There are tons of online dealers who sale them and many have them in stock.

In a previous post I mentioned that I'd sent email inquiries about Zeagle products to several LDSs in Southern California (near my sister's house). I finally got a reply from one of them:

Looks like Zeagle has a way to go in repairing dealer relationships.

I fear that you have received some bad information.

Trust me - if we hadn't shipped product since August 2010, I would have been out looking for a job quite a while ago.

Gotta love the internet!!!!

;)

Yeah, that's probably true...

As I said earlier in this thread, finding a second vendor is sometimes possible - but it's not always quick...and sometimes it just simply isn't possible or cost effective.

Believe me, no one wants to ship your product quicker than I do!

Yes we are still overcoming obstacles, but it is getting better all the time! I would hate to be Sony and dealing with their current Playstation issues.

:D

We will be fine. This is a hiccup...not anything that is fatal or long lasting.

Once we clear a few hurdles, this will all be behind us.

Thanks to everyone for their patience.
