Can the YS-90 DX use Ni-Mh rechargeable batteries?
the Sea&Sea website only mentions alkaline and Ni-Cd.
I have heard somewhere about some kind of chemical reaction possible, but can't figure out why a strobe would be different from any other device that can accept both types of battery.
Wisdom appreciated, experience even better!

Yes, you can use Ni-MH rachargeable battery on the YS90 DX as well as Ni-Cad. Actually, I just got back from a trip and I was using Powerex 2000MAH on my YS90 Auto strobes. Didn't see any problem using Ni-MH :)

S&S finally released a statement awhile back saying it was safe to use NiMH batteries in their strobes. Alot of folks have been doing so anyway.
