With all the talk and posts about equipment, sometimes we need to remember the camera is just a tool, a paint brush. We are the artists. With video, the artistry is in the editing and production. The choice of which shots, in what order, which music, what is the story we want to tell ?

My personal favorite video that I made is not from Indonesia or Galapagos, but something from a long weekend to Grand Cayman with my then girlfriend, who is now my wife. No amazing footage, still pictures from a point & shoot camera. But, somehow the music, the footage, and the simple story came together in editing. You don't always need a big expensive, fancy paint brush to create something memorable. Explore your creativity.

Yes, I see this time and time again, when my dive buddy's photographs with a slightly better model are significantly better than mine. :crying2:
