After being blown out 4 weekends in a row we have 2ft seas or less tommorrow .A 4 ft easterly swell, but with a 13sec wave period we'll do over 30kts.Got a vis report from someone today .....30'vis at 100' roughly 20 miles out.Time to go find out if there's still anything left in the ocean.I really enjoyed diving in the river with 2kt current and 12" to 18" vis(yes that was " not ')but the sea temp is 84 and I was getting cabin fever.Maybe a poll to see what the average time between dive trips is would be nice.

The wind may have died, but it churned up a mess. West of tarpon springs on Sat. AM, in 65' vis. was 1-2' MAX. Makes it hard to find what you are looking for.

4 dives yeasterday,1 was actually a bounce to unwrap anchor chain from a rock as the wind had switched direction and pulled it under.Dive 1 on the Coppedge 78ft deep vis was a cloudy 20'.Temp was 84 surface 81 bottom.Lotsa vermillion snapper ,grunts ,cudas ,lotsa invertabrate growth.Dive 2 ledge in SS area 105ft deep vis was 30' Temps were 84 surface 81 middle and 77 bottom.Snapper, grouper, french angels, grunts, porkfish mostly seen.Dive 3 same area little deeper 110 ft deep same temps and fish with the exception of shools of amberjack and cobia spinning us for several minutes.1 solitary lobster .Great day offshore .

maybe for you - now it's our turn. Typhoon due to land tonight and 95 knot winds predicted.

Looks like I might get soggy on the way home....

Jonathan, sorry to here that.Hope all is well.We just missed being under the gun again this weekend.Prayers out to Texans and Cajuns out there.
