Were they, at least, identical boats?

uh...no. but both monohulls. :D

When we splashed, it was only us. I had a bit of a time navigating back..and when I saw the hull, I just did not think. Then, I noticed that everyone looked better than the people on my boat...

The second time I did it, the captain said "oh, I will radio your captain." I said "PLEASE DON'T!" and I rolled off as fast as possible.

During my scuba class (private instructor), the divemaster and I were doing various skills/exercises. We were floating on the surface of the pool and he was giving me the next set of skills we were going to do. I was doing so good and was ready to go back down and practice some more, that, after he gave me the instructions, he said 'you ready' to which, all fired up and ready to go I shook my head yes and deflated my BC going straight down without putting my mask back down or my reg in.

As I swam to the surface (weights on and all) choking and coughing, (and finally remembered to put some air in my BC) he was still on the surface calm and cool. He simply looked at me with a deadpan expression and monitone voice and said "I bet you wont do that again". I wanted to DIE.

Walter:
Why didn't you justy put your reg in your mouth, take a breath, put on your mask and clear it?

That would be too easy and make too much sense. As much as I hate to admit it, I went into panic mode for a minute.

Peter and I went to do a shore dive at Ulua Beach our first day on Maui. We got to the site, got dressed, assembled our gear and went to head on down to the beach . . . when I realized that my fins were not with us. (We will not discuss who had done the packing.)

Since the site is very shallow and it was very calm, rather than call the dive, we did it anyway, and Peter towed me a while until I got tired of that and just breast-stroked the rest of the dive. Felt stupid, but we got twenty minutes or so underwater out of it.

climbed on the wrong boat. Took quite a while to realize it.

And they were all so thrilled with your presence they did not tell you :D\
Perhaps they thought you were a mermaid?

I wouldn't tell her either.
