YAHOOOOO.... Got My New Apeks Setup

I am soooo stoked on my new APEKS setup (ATX50 + ATX40 + DST) $370 delivered. Ordered Tuesday night around 10:00 and received it today at 10:00 in the morning. I purchased through DiveInn... I'll be going to my LDS tomorrow to have it checked out and put together. ($30) WHAT A BARGAIN

Things that I noticed...

the second stages sure don't seem any smaller than the previous TX models, but they are most definately lighter

The Primary 2nd stage came attached but the Octo did not??

The hose lengths seem rather short??

Some of the paperwork is in Spanish / Fortunately the manual itself is in English

QUESTION??? I've never purchased NEW gear before, and hence never had a factory warranty. There IS an APEKS warranty card, which is in SPANISH... what is the deal??? There are places for what I'm guessing is annual service stamps??

can anyone elaborate on what I need to do to keep the unit in warranty??

You can't have warranty work done at your LDS on items bought online. All manufacturers that I know of void their warranty coverage for online purchased items and require you to buy them from an LDS in order to qualify for the official manufacturers warranty.
To get around this, Diveinn offers their own warranty which they say is equal to the manufacturers warranty. If you have problems you need to call DiveInn and arrange for them to have the item picked up and shipped back to Spain for service or replacement. Read the FAQ section on DiveInn's website for more details.

Well that's what I've done in the past with diveinn purchases, but the card says to send it directly to apeks????

anyhow, I'm heading to my LDS right now to have it checked out. I was up at 5:30 today to take a test that's not until next week.. doohhh!!!

Gonna go hang out and watch the easter egg hunt....
