Nice setup. I tried the 23lb HOG wing on my SP X Tek SS plate, and it did not feel right, I will stick with the 30lb one that came with it [for now], this is the trim pockets, also the OMS SlipStream harness that the SP harness pulls through, very nice.

Guys just a quick update... I had an amazing weekend opportunity to try Scubapro Hydros Pro, XDeep Zen, and Apeks WTXd30.
All were great BCDs and kept my buoyancy fantastically, but somehow I fell in love with the Apeks' minimalistic trim, excellent fit and just flawless performance under water. So it was a spur of the moment and I went ahead and purchased the Apeks gear (incl. XTX200 reg with XTX40 octo).
May I ask what was the main reason you chose the Apeks?
I'm eyeing the same wings, xDeep and Apeks (Scubapro is way overpriced here).
Or what was in the Zen where you said, "meh"

I had the Hydros pro for around 60 dives and now I'm using the Xdeep zen. I have 10 dives with it.

The main reason I switched to BP/W is because I wanted to go tec diving but I didn't want to have another bcd for rec.
With the Xdeep, I can change the wing.

I choose the inox backplate because I had to add 5kg with with the Hydros and it kind of keep me off balance as I have heavy legs.

I find the standard harness more practical as you don't have to adjust each time you dive.

The Hydros pro is a wonderful BCD for rec diving. And it's very light so it's easier to carry when you travel.

For the Xdeep, I find it more balanced as the weight is more centered and the crotch strap also help in that way.

My 2 bar, but the XDeep Ghost was amazing for a travel BCD. I regret selling mine. Some people don't like the crotch strap or the placement of the ditacble weights, but I found that the center of mass was pretty close to the center of displacement, resulting in stability in any position. Super easy to travel. Super light.

Xdeep makes their wings out of really tough material too. That's my wing of choice for tech.
