Looking for a tank to buy in the Houston area. Steel or Al 80cf or more. Does not need to be pretty, just cheap. Thanks.

I found 2 very nice tanks here in DFW off Craigs List. Good place to check out on occasion.

I'm going to do my best, and avoid the joke about cheap vs. pretty.....:eyebrow:

Well I tracked down two 72's at a LDS. Went in to look at them. Both out of hydro and Viz. They had the old style valves. No Idea how old the tanks really were. Anyways they wanted $150 plus the hydro plus tax! each! I almost fell over. Then I asked them how much for a new Al 80. he said about $300! Have I been out of the loop for that long, or was this just rip off? no wonder people buy stuff on line.

I should have a shipment of AL80's in the early part of next week. I am going to sell these for $175. I will be at Lake Travis Sat and Sun May 24 and 25 and also at the gathering on June 21 and 22. If you are interested then you can pick up at either of these places. If you need shipped it would still be around $200. Bummer for you would be sales tax of 14.44, so a little over $200. I would charge actual shipping charges via UPS.

Didn't offer before as I thought you were going for cheap. Also you might check scubatoys.

I will be at CSSP on the 21st and 22nd. I will see how my finances are at that time and I may be interested in a new tank. Bring a few extra just in case.

"few extra" like in 15 -20 :D Just give me a heads up by June 14. If I need to order more that would give me time to have them in.
