I am going to move all my gauges to wrist mount boots but came across some minor concerns...

Sherwood Wrist Mount Slimline Gauge/Computer Boot 2406 with reviews at scuba.com

This boot specifically states "2006 and later" models I have a much older Oceanic computer. Is this really likely to be a problem? I've considered just chopping up the existing console and using some velcro straps as the arm-bands.

Also, anyone know of any good boots for compasses? I haven't found anything that excludes the compass itself.

Do you have dimensions for the Oceanic PC? that boot should hold a PC approximately 2.2 inches in diameter. and it should be held in place via a 1/16" groove around the PC.

For the compass, it depends on the brand. I know Oceanic has two different styles of compass (assume old and new versions) that do not appear interchangeable
I just put my Oceanic SWIV compass in this Aeris boot: http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-67/016004/Aeris-Wrist-Boot-For-XR-Compass.html

I can't speak for other brands.
