I'm not sure how Claudette will feel about all this straddling in the presence of sharks. :11:
As long as you don't hang a sign on my back side that says "wide load" I'll be cool!
This would definitely be a place where a compressor would come in really handy.

OK, totally excited about Leo Carillo in April. I have baseball early in the morning with the boys on Sat, but I can make it up there in the evening and for diving on Sunday! Whoopee!

Hope you don't mind a nonparticipant from asking questions. I don't live in SoCal, yet, but may move to SD later this year, so I've been following the Wrinkles threads with interest. Definitely an activity I would like to participate in should I move to SD.
What do you guys do for fills? Are there normally shops near by or does someone normally bring a compressor? Do some people dive EANx?

Welcome to the SoCal forum! Feel free to ask questions, we love to help people from out of town.
What we do for fills depends on where the Wrinkles Dive is. In San Diego and Orange County there are shops within walking distance. In north Los Angeles County (where we are this month) fills involve about a 20 minute drive. Many of us just bring 2 or 3 tanks and get fills at the end of the day.
I think that having a compressor would be really cool, but no one has brought one yet. I have plans on buying one some day, but it might be a while before I do. I need a vehicle to haul it around in first. I'm running out of room in my car!
Some people dive EANx, but most people are diving air. Both are available at shops near by.
I look forward to meeting you if you come to California.

grumble........another Wrinkle's Dive I'll miss...seems like the 2nd weekend is always busy for me... :17: Second weekend of May is out for me too so, hopefully, I'll catch up with everyone in June.
