Hi folks,
I have a family members wedding in Jackson, Michigan on may 28 and I'd love to get a few wreck dives in if I can. The wedding isnt until 3:30 so I have all morning, or the day before. I'd like to find a tec friendly shop or charter to use and a good wreck to see. Does anyone have any recommendations for charter boats? Any recommendations for which wrecks to dive? I dive primarily 50 miles north of boston year round in cold dark water so Im up for anything. I will be bringing all my gear including 2 sets of doubles. PM me if you'd like. Thanks for your help in advance! -Greg

Jackson isn't really "near" either of the lakes (Lake Michigan or Lake Huron). Either of which will be a couple hours drive to get to. The Great Lakes Diver goes out of Port Sanilac almost every Saturday and Sunday. If you are up for a drive, you may want to check them out.

"Mitten Diver" is from the Jackson area. You may want to look him up as well for recommendations.

Sink,

There is no wreck diving here in the middle of the state. Some small local lakes that are not worth toting the dive gear for. Drive to Sanilac and get with Gary Venet or Bruno's Dive Shop who operates the Great Lakes Diver. It is a three hour trip for some freaking awesome diving. This is where I do most of my diving due to local buddies, great dive boats and awesome wrecks.

Who is your relation in Jackson? Maybe I know the poor bastard.
