FiveFiveSix
New
Hi everyone.
I'm FiveFiveSix, an English diver currently residing in Thailand. I'd been recreationally diving sporadically for about 4 years, before I decided to take an internship in Thailand to get up to instructor. Since coming out here (I was supposed to be here for three months, that's changed to 5!) I've become very interested in wreck penetration and technical diving. I like coral diving as much as the next diver, but fresh, shiney, sharp bits of big metal are what float my boat (or not!) these days. Wrecks out here include the HTMS Khram, the Hardeep and the HTMS Khood. I've had several injuries since I've been out here which have kept me from getting wet for nearly a month and a half, so I haven't been able to do a lot of the specialities I've paid for, so the sooner I get my Wreck spec and start doing some proper penetration, the better! I've got a Tec basics course booked too, and I'm really looking forward to that. I've been reading a lot about DIR recently, and have seen it in action, so my gear and general style is slowly moving that way.
