Is anyone know which brand produce the world's smallest "real xenon gas" HID torch?

good question - I guess it depends on what "Watt" you want. I've just purchased a CD 10W canister HID and I must say it is pretty damn small compared to others on the market - they also do a handheld version.

UK makes a hand held called the Light Cannon. It's size is pretty much defined by the 8 D cells it uses, but at least its smaller than a canister light. I think it's probably the most inexpensive HID light out there right now.

is 8 "C" cells, not Ds.

Its also amazing.

One problem - its quite fragile and the bulbs are $80! Drop it on a boat deck from 2' and you're buying a new bulb.

I was with someone who had one yesterday .vs. my C-8 sunlight. The difference in illumination was absolutely astounding.
