What is the best Woman's BC for the cheapest price? I am new to diving and have only used a rented BC. If someone could please help me....it would be great..thanks alot.:D

The best BC for the money is the one that fits you the best and that you are comfortable diving in. Unfortunately, I don't believe that "going cheap" is in your best interest when you're looking at life support equipment, and that fit is the #1 priority.

Best advice would be to try on as many BCs as you can find, both men's and women's styles. Pick the one that fits you best, and if you're lucky and find more than one that fits you well, buy the cheaper one.

Personally, I use a Zeagle Zena and it was the best $400 I've ever spent. It fits me like a glove and I look forward to many years of diving with it. Contrast that to my first BC (SeaQuest Diva) that fit me poorly, which I sold after just a year. There's nothing wrong with the Diva, it just didn't fit me right and I hated it, but I know there are a lot of women out there who love their Divas...it just wasn't for me.

I agree, going cheap is not what you want to do underwater. I use a Scubapro Lady Hawk and really like it. Fits great and easy to pack for dive trips. Go try several on and buy the one that fits the best and is the most comfortable.

I have an ISLA and i love it.......i like the functionality of it, as it adjusts across the chest. Having a rather large chest a lot of bcs squished the girls together i tried many different types and I would highly recommend trying them, don't rule out some just because they aren't specifically made for a women either. Believe me i'm sure I drove My LDS crazy trying on every bc they had some more then once or twice or even 3 times.....lol same with suits altho they never lead on that I was a PIA props to them.

Be sure to check out Mares new Kaila BCD built for women by women. I agree with earlier post that fit is foremost. Of course everyone is built differently, so one may be great for her and not so good for the other. Everyone female that I've fitted into the Kaila thinks it is the most comfortable they've tried. There is so much adjustability to the bc and with the cut and design it is really easy to fit many people. Who knows it might work for you. Definitely worth taking a look!

Good luck in your hunt.

Good luck.

Not an expert on this, just heard that Zena is pretty good, and for some people with smaller body frame the Tusa has some very good feedback too:

There is a similar thread at this forum too....

Finally, tusa is making it colorful.
Just for the fun of it, if you care for the color, you can search around:
"TUSA’s new line of color softgoods which include Pearlescent Pink, White, Black/Red, and a limited Lavender."
