Love warm water, but will dive cold if it's all that i can find

All of my 40+ dives have been in cold water. My one-piece 7mm and a hooded vest, gloves, and boots work just fine. If I didn't do the colder water dives, I'd never get to dive!!! What fun would THAT be?

I have dived cold because the only water around here is pretty chilly. I would take the warm, clear, Carribean over a cold, turbid, lake anyday!!!

I started diving in Cuba...so I like the warm...But I live in Canada, so I dive cold...but I don't like diving in anything less than about 55 F. I just bought my first set of gear this year so couldn't affored a dry suit too....but...it's in my eventual plans

More or less what she said, except I now have 80+ dives and since I was only certified in (essentially) Nov 2003, out of necessity a vast majority of my dives have been cold (very very cold) water.

I'm a wetsuit diver and proud of it. I do have a drysuit, but have only recently (this spring) made two test dives on it. Coldest dive: 35 minutes in 32°F water. There were ice chunks floating around.

My buddies, teeth chattering in their drysuits, have declared I'm certifiably insane.........
