We will be diving Bonaire over Christmas to New Years. I was wondering about wetsuits.
We where there in June for our last visit. We were underwater for over 30 hours that week. Could have just worn shorts but a 3/2 was comfortable.
Would a 5mm be a good idea in December?
Thanks

A full length 3 mm likely wold be good much of the time. A 5mm could be a useful adjunct to take along. If you have space for only 1 wetsuit take the 5mm. Night diving will always chill you more for many reasons. Some folks use a 3mm with a vest/hood or just hood. I use a 3mm year round but have a 0.5mm wetsuit (not skin) to wear under the 3mm for night dives. Theat 4th or 5th dive of the day does it to you and with no sun to warm you on exit I do chill easily.

It all depends on your cold tolerance.
