For the record, I've got the Halcyon Pioneer #27. Less than 20 lift is too low - as Spoon put it "just in case". Needless to say this won't do doubles.

As a result, I will be forced to buy the Halcyon Evolve #40. Damn. Friends of mine at Techasia tell me that the reports coming back are very favourable - not sure about #45as a minimum for tech - the guys at Techasia are amongst the best in the area, if not the best.

Time to go trimix...

i agree. i recently sold my halcyon explorer 40lb wing. hardly do doubles anymore but the evolve will be worth considering in the future
